The path of spirituality comes to us in so many unexpected ways. The story of the gentleman, my chosen wand maker, is amazing and will send chills down your spine. It did mine. I am not telling you this to sell wands, I am sharing this to show how the spirit works in such unexpected ways. Spirituality is a very personal thing and the ways that each of us reach this point in our lives is always a story in itself.

My friend Eric is a father, a husband, and is very devoted to family and children. As a child, he fondly remembers his father whittling animals and other figurines from wood, and after his fathers death, he was the gracious receiver of his father tools. At this point in his life, he had know idea that these precious tools were going to be a large part of his future.

After a debilitating car accident which could have paralyzed him if not for the help of some amazing doctors, he was left in a constant state of pain, and unable to work. Spending time with his children is now priority as he is home while his wife works. As many of us with young children have done, he spent a day in the throws of a Harry Potter marathon with his girls. Watching them play afterwards using broken sticks as wands, he had an idea.

Using a piece of wood he found he started to whittle, watching as he worked as beautiful wands started to emerge from whatever piece of wood he had found to use that day.  He created pieces for his own children, and then the other children in the neighborhood as they wanted them to. Just before meeting him this week, he had created 22 wands for his daughters class as an end of the school year prize for doing a good job. With a beautiful heart and artistic hand, he is making so many children so happy.

Neighbors and friends soon convinced him that he should build a website and start selling his wands. Within a week of this, a high end toy store in his area saw them, loved them, and took wands into their store to sell as novelties. At the same time, a witch of standing contacted him to discuss using his (the witches) website to promote his wands and tools rather then toys. I came across Eric's site though this site and contacted him immediately as I could see and feel the love and power in these pieces just looking at pictures on his website.

The work Eric does is beautiful filled with love, peace, and hope. This, to me, creates and amazing base for a very powerful spiritually centered wand. We are now working together to promote his beautiful pieces, he on the creative end, me on the metaphysical end and are now here to present them to you.
